Who Is Eligible for ZED Certification?

Eligibility Criteria for ZED Certification

Only MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) that are registered with the UDYAM portal of the Ministry of MSME are eligible to apply for ZED certification and enjoy its related benefits and incentives.

As of now, the scheme applies to manufacturing MSMEs only. While inclusion of service-sector MSMEs is planned in a later phase, it is not yet applicable.

Unregistered MSMEs are not eligible.

In short, you must be a manufacturing MSME registered via Udyam to qualify.
